Frequently Asked questions
Do you have any openings?
In July there will be an opening for a child 2 years or older.
Are you Licensed?
Yes. The EEC is the agency that oversees the early education and care services for families of Massachusetts. As the agency that licenses child care, EEC has quality standards for all licensed programs to ensure high educational value, as well as health and safety. Having a license means that I have demonstrated that I meet the standards outlined by the EEC regulations.
What are you rates?
$50 a day
Do you have CPR and First Aid Training?
Yes. The EEC requires we complete CPR and First Aid Training once a year.
Do I need to bring food for my child?
No. I supply Breakfast (if your child arrives between 7:30-8:00am), Morning and Afternoon Snack and Lunch. I am enrolled in a food program, Child Development Health and Nutrition, the program ensures that your child is receiving nutritious meals.
What is the staff to child ratio?
I am licensed to care for 6 children under the age of 5; plus two school aged children.
What is your sick policy?
I can care for mildly ill children in my program; however there will be times when you need to keep your children home due to illness. If your child has a high, fever diarrhea, orvomiting you should keep them out of care until those symptoms have resolved for 24 hours.
Do you have any pets?
We do have pets in our home. We have 2 dogs (one big & one small) and 2 cats. All are up-to-date on shots, they take monthly flea/tick preventative medications and are all very healthy and clean. They've been raised with children so they are very accepting of them.
Whats ages do you accept?
18 months-6 years of age
What is your policy regarding snow?
On days that school is cancelled for Lunenburg Public Schools, the daycare may have a delayed opening so that I can clear my driveway and walkways for your safety. I will contact you in advance if this is necessary.
